Urban beach with coarse sand and shallow water located in the centre of the Xàbia Bay in the city district with its same name. It is the most well-known and visited beach since it is the town’s only sandy beach. Next to it, there is a canal which provides access to the sea for small boats. In its northern end, there is the beach point called “Punta de Arenal” , where the “Parador” is located. The “Punta del Castell” Scenic Viewpoint is located in its south end. Occupancy level is high. Length: 480 m (approx.) This beach is annually awarded the Blue Flag Award for Clean Seas of Europe.
