In the early nineteenth century, the phenomenon of the summer on the beaches of Santa Pola takes some entity. In Playa Grande and Playa Lisa there are numerous esparto and reed huts, which were the most popular room for holiday makers, most of them from Elche. The "Bath of the Sirens", located in the current port, was a Social Center for meetings for the most affluent vacationers. The Santa Pola Windsurf Club is located on this beach and in 2009 the "Windsurf Formula World Championship" was held. Length: 1.084 m.
