It is a question of two coves located next to the Bancal of the Sand in whose environs is the third marine research center of Spain called CIMAR. The waters of these coves are located in what is called an area L.I.C, Place of Community Interest and are the ideal place for snorkeling. Towards Arenales del Sol, on the same rocky shore, are the remains of a medieval quarry, whose perfect cuts in the stone forming rectangles have served to end the Fortress of the island of Tabarca.
