The Marina is a hamlet of the municipality of Elche, in the province of Alicante (Spain). It is located next to the Mediterranean Sea, at the foot of the Sierra del Molar, very close to Guardamar del Segura and next to the Salinas de Santa Pola. Also the beach of a kilometer and a half in front of the town of La Marina receives the same name. The main access to La Marina is through the national road N-332. The main beach of this hamlet of Elche is the beach of La Marina, a beautiful and extensive beach (about 1500 meters long and 20 wide) of fine golden sand. It is considered semi-urban as part of the beach has buildings behind and another part has a large pine forest. It has blue flag, maritime surveillance and rental service of sunbeds and umbrellas. It is accessible for the disabled. There is also a nautical station for water sports.
