Playa de la Mata

It is the longest beach in Torrevieja, with a length of 2.3Km Located in Torrevieja's hamlet Torrevieja, is the Playa de la Mata, with a length of 2,300 m. and an average width that exceeds 40 m. It is delimited to the south by the Cabo Cervera and to the north by the Tower of La Mata that gives name to the district. It has a large promenade along the entire beach where you can find numerous beach bars and restaurants. Behind the beach, there is a large expanse of sand dunes that make up the "Parque del Molino del agua".
