The beach of Mil Palmeras is a sandy beach of the municipality of Orihuela1 in the province of Alicante (Spain). This beach is bordered on the north by the beach of Barranco Rubio and on the south by the municipality of Pilar de la Horadada and has a length of 546 m, with an amplitude of 58 m. It is located in an urban environment, having access by street. It has a promenade and parking delimited. It is a marked beach, with a marked area for the exit of boats. This beach has the distinctive Blue Flag since 2001. With certifications of SICTED, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Flag Qualitur and Flag Q of Tourist Quality. Length: 346m. Surface: 15,570m2. The beach of Mil Palmeras is located at the mouth of the Cañada de Matamoros, which delimits the municipalities of Orihuela and Pilar de la Horadada. It is a natural, open beach with fine white sand. In the summer months it has the services of a beach bar, sunbeds and umbrellas. It has a children's game area.
