Beaches

El Moncayo beach is the natural continuation of the Campo beach. The dune character has been partially lost in this sector and has been transformed into agricultural fields and residential areas, although it maintains a small dune cord. The beach has a semi-natural character and its sand and water are of excellent quality. Its access is made by the national road N-332, about two kilometers south of the town of Guardamar del Segura. Open spaces and fine, golden sand make up this one kilometer and a half long beach, located in a transition zone between the urban nucleus and the dunes at the southern end. It has a length of 1,460 meters and an average width of 40 meters. Its estimated average occupation throughout the season is medium-low, also due to its large size.
