With almost three kilometers of fine white sand, the beach of Arenales del Sol is one of the most valued of the Alicante coast, both for the quality of its waters and the richness of its seabed, as well as for its embryonic dunes, mobile, semi-fixed, fixed and even fossil. In addition, it is connected to the natural area of ​​Clot de Galvany, a wetland located between the urban areas of Arenales del Sol and Gran Alacant (in the municipality of Santa Pola). It is 5 km from Alicante-Elche International Airport and 16 km from Elche. Its space is flanked to a large extent by the buildings of the district of Elche that gives it its name, with what it supposes of complementary equipment: restaurants, shops, kiosks, ice cream shops and a street market (between June 22 and September 7) Tuesday and Friday afternoon, to which the farmers go, to offer their excellent products of the land directly; It also has stalls selling clothing and footwear, among others.
