This street is the street with the most flags of Spain in the whole country. If you are a foreigner and you want to show which country you have been to and nobody has any doubts, this is your street. It also has a commemorative mural of the arrival to the new world by Christopher Columbus. The priest Llopis in his book Calpe (1953) indicates that "Puchalt took care of the urbanization of the town, paving on his own one of the oldest streets, which was impassable due to being on a very steep slope and that Calpe dedicated it to him giving him his name ". However, it was not until 1979 that this steep slope, in which there were many falls, of steps, was not covered. Thus providing the street with more security.
