Virgin Nudist Cove with gravel, boulders and crystalline water near the Cove: Cabo de la Nao. It owes its name to the watchtower built in the 16th Century, whose function was surveillance and maritime defence from pirate attacks the same as the other Xàbia watchtower located in the Portitxol zone, both sites are located on private land. In its Southernmost slope, we find the isla del Descubridor (Discoverer’s Island). The Ambolo scenic viewpoint is near this cove. Occupancy level is low. Length: 300 m (approx.) This beach is currently closed due to risk of landslide.

The Postiguet beach is one of the most bustling beaches, located in the very heart of Alicante city, at the foot of Santa Bárbara Castle and next to the famous "Explanada" promenade. Postiguet stands out for the quality of its fine golden sands and its calm waters. All this besides the easy access to the historic center, is what has made this beach an emblem of the city of Alicante. It has areas for sports such as beach volleyball. In addition, there are several public and private parking spaces nearby. And the beach has public toilets adapted for reduced mobility people.
San Juan Beach is a paradise of fine sand and clear waters, it is the best known beach in Alicante and very appreciated by locals, who enjoy it all year round. It catches you and makes you fall in love equal parts so, if you come once, you will repeat. This huge stretch of sand covers from the beaches of El Campello to Cabo de las Huertas. It allows to enjoy the Mediterranean sea in an incredible way, due to its fine sand and its extension, as well as all the complementary leisure services that it offers. There are areas of hammocks and umbrellas, in addition to the possibility of renting pedal boats into the sea.
Semi-natural cove, with pebbles and calm waters, 800 m long and 20 m wide. Known with this name because, in the past, the farmers dug the esparto picked from our different mountains such as: Xixí, Ballestera or les Puntes de Gosàlvez. Beach in Torrevieja (Alicante). This beach is 50 meters long and 10 meters wide. Normally the level of occupation of the beach cove of the fig tree is medium. Semi-urban beach whose composition is rocks / gravel. This cove, along with others located in its vicinity, form an accessible set that stands out for its clean and crystal clear waters.
"Caleta dels Gossets" is in Cabo de Santa Pola, an extremely valuable environmental area. Known as the "III Cala del Cuartel" it's a special protected cove and designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Cove's name was chosen from all the suggestions sent in by boys and girls from all the primary schools in and around Santa Pola. This is a place where your dogs can enjoy playing on the beach and having a swim with you. It's very important that you follow the basic rules for use and environmental conservation. By keeping the Cove clean and tidy you're making sure it's still here in years to come. So, it's up to all of us to look after it. Please bear in mind that this cove is NOT for the sole and exclusive use of dog owners. You must keep your dog under control and respect other beach users, as you will be liable for any damage or injury caused by your dog. Your dog must be microchipped and parasite free. Don't forget to bring your dog's up‐to‐date vaccination record with you. Access to the Cove is not permitted to dogs with ongoing infectious diseases, females on heat and puppies who have not yet had all their vaccinations. You must pick up your dog's mess, so please make sure you're carrying enough bags and remember to put them in the bins provided. If your dog is classed as a dangerous breed, it must be wearing a muzzle and collar and you must keep it on the lead. Only two dogs per person are allowed at the cove. Dog training and classes led by professional instructors are not permitted on this beach. Dogs with a history of aggressive behaviour towards other animals are banned from the cove. Please remember that these rules have been made to ensure that hygiene standards required by law are met and to provide a pleasant experience for everyone using the Cove. To comply with applicable legislation, the Beaches Department carries out regular analyses and tests on the sand and bathing water at the Cove and publishes the results on the noticeboards for your information.
The Cap d'Or peninsula shelters the fine sandy beach of Playa del Portet, which boasts crystal clear waters, This small, shell-shaped beach is a magnificent place for enjoying a peaceful swim, exploring the underwater environment or doing some kayaking. The starting point of a symbolic hiking route to the Cap d'Or watchtower and the plant micro-reserve that shares its name, begins here. It is also the starting point on the coastal lookout point route, a walk which runs along the coast. Semi-urban beach edged by a pleasant seafront promenade. This busy beach is around 300 metres long and 10 metres wide. It is mostly covered in fine sand, although there is a rocky area too. There is a ramp for launching small boats. Services in summer: lifeguards, surveillance, foot showers, WC, walkways, car park, canoes, restaurants.
A calm cove located between the developments of Cabo Roig and Campoamor. Nearby it has a micro-forest of protected flora which ends in a rock and fossil beach more than 125 years old. A walkway between the rocky area and the beach itself links it to the Glea Beach.
Cala Piteras has another Blue Flag, it is a charming beach. Although it is not particularly large, the beach has one of the most important fields of Posidonia in the south of the province.
